I feel like they each fit me perfectly for the age I was when they aired. Starting with Buffy in my teens & then on to Angel (& more mature Buffy as well!) as a young adult. I feel like they both really spoke to who I was, when they aired.

But, twist my arm? Angel just edges it.

And the whole Spuffy relationship during Season 6 happened at the same time as a close friend of mine was going through a *very* similar relationship. Which I think helped me be a better friend to her then. (They're happily married 10+ years now, so...)
