For the past several years, a group of James' fans have gotten together to do something special for his birthday, This year the group went practical, getting some musical equipment and items for him and the band to use. In addition to this personal gift, a donation was also made to the Human Rights Campaign. Presentation took place August 10, 2013 at Chicago Comic Con. Gift organized and presented by Jessie Wintle. Video by Lori Brett. At the end there is even a surprise guest appearance by Eddie McClintock of Warehouse 13
